WENDYHOUSE PRE-SCHOOL GYMNASTICS CLUB

Is now operating from our new premises in West Byfleet.

After teaching Gymnastics to children of all ages for over 12 years I have realised the importance of encouraging a love of sport from a very young age, so, although concentrating on the gymnastics, we are also offering various classes and sessions designed to enhance natural development through sport:

Each activity holds key elements to build a base for many sporting activities that children may choose to pursue as they get older. I am also aiming to make classes more accessible by endeavouring to run some sessions on a drop in basis so parents do not need to commit and pay by the half term. Gymnastics will continue to run on a half termly basis...for insurance reasons I need to be aware of numbers to have a correct coach/gymnast ratio.

We have our own pre-schcool gymnastics award badges new for September for gymnastics reaching various stages in our structured programme, as we prepare them to continue gymnastics at our after school club in Byfleet Village and we aim to do little displays throughout the year, which I have found invaluable in confidence building.

EASTER DISPLAYS & CLUB COMPETITIONS 2011

Sadly last year's Christmas Display was cancelled due to the bad weather in December so an
alternative display around Easter was scheduled...

Senior Display

The Easter display for all after school classes and Saturday squads was held at
the Addlestone Leisure Centre on Sunday March 28 at 2 – 4 pm.

Competition results will be available here shortly...

Junior Display

The display took place at St Mary's Day Centre, Byfleet, on the morning
of Thursday April 7 for the elder members of the community to also enjoy.
The Kim Henderson Award was presented to Martha.
